Resources

Many of you have asked what are good books to read. Well, partly because I'm tired of telling you (slightly kidding) and I want to be as helpful as possible, here is a list of books we (Consumed Staff) have found incredibly insightful and meaningful in our personal journeys. I feel I should put something official like, "All of the expressed views, opinions, blah, blah, blah, in these books do not solely reflect the views of Consumed Ministries on God, church, faith, issues, etc." What I'm trying to say -- YOU WON'T AGREE WITH EVERYTHING IN THESE PAGES. That's OK. The things you don't agree with will challenge you, the things you do agree with will move you. Here you go: (Sorted by Author) JOHN ELDREDGE The Sacred Romance The Journey of Desire Wild at Heart Waking the Dead Epic Captivating DONALD MILLER Blue Like Jazz Searching for God Knows What Through Painted Deserts ERWIN MCMANUS Seizing Your Divine Moment Unstoppable Force Uprising The Barbarian Way PETE GREGG & DAVE ROBERTS Red Moon Rising MATT REDMAN Facedown The Unquenchable Worshipper JOHN PIPER The Pleasures of God The Dangerous Duty of Delight The Passion of Jesus Christ DAVID CROWDER Praise Habit CHRIS TOMLIN The Way I was Made MARK BUCHANAN The Holy Wild LOUIE GIGLIO i am not but I know I AM The Air I Breathe PHILIP YANCEY The Jesus I Never Knew What’s So Amazing About Grace ROC BOTTOMLY The Promised Power
