Kingdom Meditation

Last night I was blessed to experience a little bit of Jesus' prayer in John 17 coming to fruition. I believe there were around 12-15 churches represented at Normandale Community College for the Kingdom Meditation evening. The purpose of the evening was simple -- a gathering of people (the church) in the surrounding areas of NCC to pray. Our main prayer focus was Jesus' model prayer given to the disciples, "Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." I believe God is active, alive, and doing things at Normandale Community College. Jesus is building His church. Last night was a night to say, "God, we want in on what you are doing. Use us we pray." We prayed we would have eyes to see students, faculty, and staff at Normandale like Jesus sees them. We prayed for servant's hearts to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and welcome in strangers. We thanked Jesus for his authority and promised presence as we strive to make disciples of all nations at NCC...for the nations are there! Thank you to everyone that attended in person or prayed for the event from afar. I believe this is just the beginning of what God is going to do at Normandale for his honor and glory.

You are mighty and You reign, Lord God, at Normandale College, in the state of Minnesota, and over all the earth. Please open the floodgates of heaven, dear Father. Please send more laborers into the fields that are white to harvest. To those whom You are calling, we pray You would give strong faith and great courage.

Raise up Your army of prayer warriors, O God. Awake Your people throughout the earth, to prepare Your kingdom and declare Your worth.

"Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen" (Revelation 7:12).
